Historic Moment: DBS Students Take Model National Leaving Examinations on Campus

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia — July 2, 2024

In a groundbreaking development, students of Dandii Boru School (DBS) recently made history by taking their National Leaving Examinations (NLE) trials right within the familiar confines of their school compound. This marked the first time ever that DBS students had the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in a fully equipped examination environment.

DBS had spared no effort in ensuring a seamless examination experience. The computer laboratory boasted high-speed internet and ergonomic chairs. Each student had their workstation, complete with a comfortable keyboard and mouse.

As the clock ticked, students navigated through the exam questions with confidence. The familiar click of keyboards filled the room, punctuated by occasional sighs and determined frowns. The ICT Directorate and School Administration moved silently, ensuring fairness and adherence to guidelines.

The successful conduct of the Model NLE exams at DBS opens a new chapter in the school’s legacy. It underscores DBS’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and student welfare.

  1. I had been the school’s staff, as a mathematics teacher, from 1999 to 2003 E.C, for 5 years. I have a wonderful time! I know the school’s limitless endovour to pave the way to the students’ future.
